Kedainiai (Lithuania)

Kedainiai sugar factory (Lithuania)

The Kedainiai factory began operations in 1970. It employs around 190 staff today who are supported by another 160 temporary employees during the campaign. In addition to animal feed and molasses, the factory primarily produces fine sugar. This is sold in 1-kilogram packages under the DanSukker brand for the retail trade, or sold in 50-kilogram bags in bulk form to the food industry for further processing.
