Opportunities in new business segments

Nordzucker acquired trade investments and established subsidiaries to open up new business activities. The establishment of the 100 per cent subsidiary fuel 21 GmbH & Co. KG was our entry into the energy from biomass sector.

NP Sweet A/S was founded in March 2011 as a joint venture between Nordzucker AG and PureCircle Limited. The trade investment is involved in the development and marketing of stevia products which combine the natural advantages of sugar with the properties of stevia products.
