At Nordzucker, quality begins with the selection of the seed stock for the beets. Recommendations on manuring and cultivation supplement this agricultural advice.

At Nordzucker, all manufacturing processes are organised and documented. This begins with acceptance controls on the beets, and ends with finished product controls.

In order to comply with all legal requirements, regulations, and standards, and to fulfil the expectations of our partners, Nordzucker has been subject to certification from independent auditing institutions for more than ten years. A particular point of emphasis here is the ongoing maintenance of quality.

This applies to the areas of quality management (DIN EN ISO 9001), environmental management (DIN EN ISO 14001 and EMAS II), and also to the IFS (International Food Standard) product standard for food retailing.

All products are manufactured according to the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice. In HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) analyses, every process step is observed, evaluated, and optimised in order to manufacture safe products at all times.

Our collaboration in partnership with customers and suppliers, as well as the process of continuing improvement in all our operations, ensures that in terms of quality, Nordzucker is always one step ahead.
